Our garden is a little bit of a way from the water spigot. It is on the other side of a driveway and I didn’t want to leave a hose or pipe over the driveway where it will become a trip hazard. I also didn’t want to take the time or effort to dig under the driveway.
Pipe System
I built a pipe system from the spigot to the garden going up and over the door and then down and under the mulch.
Raised Bed Garden
It then goes up the outside of the raised bed and gets attached to the actual drip irrigation hose. This is an easy system to build and took me about two half days. One to plan on what parts to purchase and another to actually put it together.
